The below information will help you have a smooth and worry-free trip.
Having a valid passport is crucial when traveling internationally as it is the primary travel document required. For US citizens, a valid passport is mandatory except for some cruises that start and end in the same US port where an original certified birth certificate with a raised seal and photo ID may be accepted. Non-US citizens and Resident Aliens should check with their respective embassies and US Immigration for applicable regulations. At That Vacation Lady, we strongly urge all travelers to have a valid passport when traveling outside the US.

Emergencies can happen when you least expect them. That Vacation Lady highly recommends that all clients purchase a travel insurance policy to protect their investment in their travel. Cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and tour operators all charge high penalties for cancellation, ranging from the full deposit to no refund at all. And, keep in mind that most health insurance policies will not cover you when you are out of the country. Travel insurance can protect you in the event of Trip Cancellation, Trip Delay, Trip Interruption, Missed Connection, Baggage Loss, Theft or Damage, Baggage Delay, Emergency Medical and Dental Expenses, and Emergency Medical Transportation, among other unforeseen circumstances.
